Tap, tap, tap....
I just love those one-minute wonders!!! Thank you, thank you Gary for bringing EFT into our lives so generously!!! EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) www.emofree.com
It is so amazing to have something that has been a real issue in our lives just completely lose it’s hold on us in a minute or so. I mean Lawrence has had a fear of heights his whole life...well, so do a lot of folks. No real huge deal most of the time, right? Well, it wouldn't just catch him in the stomach in an elevator or at the top of a building, but even playing Halo – while his character got close to an edge – was uncomfortable enough to decide to give the EFT a whirl with this issue. So we retired to the other room for a moment or so and did quick round of tapping. On a scale of 0-10, 10 being the most uncomfortable... he was at a 8-9. * Even though I have this fear of heights, even though I have to control where I am, even though I can fall...tap, tap, tap. * A minute's worth of tapping and he went back to the game. Got to an edge...0. Nada. No gripping in the tummy. No fear. Nothing. Yay!!!! Love this. We just LOVE EFT!!!!! We love that it doesn't hurt you, can't hurt you and helps so much...man!
Oh, sure we have a few that we are still working on, but we can really see that we have merely not discovered the essential aspect of the issue. If one is afraid of dogs per se, one may also be afraid of the pain of bites, the noise of barking, the feeling they get when they see a dog…yeah, it is really interesting to explore all those aspects of the stated fear. We've been tapping on everything...cramps? Gone. Aria's twitchy neck? Gone. Kids don't want to go to bed? Gone.
*Sighs happily. *
*Goes in search of other things to tap on. *
